Just getting settled in our new digs here in So. MO - here in the Ozarks.

I gotta tell ya...seems we happened upon some fantastic Corvette roads!! Sort of a cross between the Rocky Mtn run (high-speed, gentler curves vs. Appalachian runs (with their tighter turns, but less speed (IMO)).

Just placing a "marker" here. I'll makes some videos - soon as I can get my Vette moved over here (couple weeks??). But, the excellent road conditions with curves and roller-coaster (WooHoo!) dips n peaks. And, the views!! :icon_boun

"More later!" (I promise!!) Sure is a big departure from the flat lands south of Chicago!!!

i think you are really going to like it there. from the ozark mountains to southern mo and north arkansas, the roads were made for sports cars and motorcycles. ava seems to be a quaint old mo town, that's missouri not detroit, close to the lakes and branson. or if you really get the crazy urge, go to the lake of the ozarks on a summer holiday weekend.
enjoy your new surroundings.
and by the way, if you have not investigated it yet, missouri 'used' to not have personal property taxes on vehicles older than a certain age and i think your vettes, the zr-1's, fall into that category.

I'm glad you got out of that concrete jungle!! Here in Southern Illinois, we have some amazing, twisty backroads. You can go from straight highways to some backroads that are like the tail of the dragon ( not exactly like the dragon, but so fun to drive and no traffic) And having some national parks pretty much in my backyard, the views are stellar!!! Just wait until you go for that fall drive in the Ozarks and see the colors, just amazing!
