Corvettes at Carlisle - It's a GO!

Afternoon all:

On behalf of your board of directors, I am thrilled to share that the Registry will have a club presence at Corvettes at Carlisle from August 26-28. Well done to those that have already registered.

As of today, there are 16 members registered under the ZR-1 Net Registry. We need a minimum of 25 registrants under our club to secure the 20X20 tent that we've enjoyed in the Fun Field during previous years. Let's get on it and release all that pent-up demand to participate in a great event in 2021 by registering today!

For those who have yet to register, please make sure you note your ZR-1 Registry club affiliation using the drop-down options on the registration page; here is the link to Corvettes at Carlisle registration https://store.carlisleevents.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=2021%2D024.

We will be working with WAZOO members to provide great food as they have done at many previous Carlisle events. Note also that WAZOO member, Charlie Sinunu (Dredgeguy) is working with Boomerangs for group hotel reservations for members. Thanks guys!

I started a new thread but in case you missed it:
We have a block of 15 rooms at Boomerang Bar & Grill where we stayed last year. We have 13 rooms with a single bed and 2 rooms with 2 beds. All beds are Queen size. The rates for us are $65 + tax for the double bed rooms and $55 + tax for the single bed rooms. They require a $50 credit card deposit for the room when you make your reservation. The deposit is refundable if something comes up provided you cancel 72 hours in advance. Rooms are clean, basic, with TV and wifi. Food and bar are great and they have both indoor and outdoor space. Address is:


110 Limekiln Road, New Cumberland, PA 17070. It is 21.2 miles from the fairgrounds (27 minutes if you go the speed limit......not). Blasting down the PA turnpike is good for the soul.

Will be registering soon, but one quick newbie question since I've never been to Carlisle: the website says "2021 Corvettes at Carlisle Fun Field. Includes weekend admission for the driver and passenger:. Is that Fun Field pass just for entry on Sat, or for the entire 3-day event, and what are others doing for entry on the previous two days if they are not included? Thanks!

Fun Field pass is for entry and parking in the infield during the entire event (Thursday-Sunday). Make sure you put your Club as ZR-1 Net Registry and if you are staying up there make your reservations at Boomerangs. Looking forward to seeing you soon Scott and welcome back to Wazoo land!

Hi guys,

Tried to respond to a couple of questions I saw on the app on my phone, but something wonky is happening when I try to post the response there. I also don't see the questions here, so hopefully those that had the questions will see this.

As of late last week, we had 32 registered under the Registry. That is great in that we've hit the magical number of 25 for the bit tent without cost. We are working to get the smaller tent as well to have extra space and to accommodate such things as the seminars. Things are coming together nicely.

Yes, we do not leave the cars there overnight. We drive in everyday and park in our area, not to worry.

July 25 was the deadline for registering to get the discount. Today, we have 59 members registered. That's enough to get us the bigger (20X30) tent to use as our "headquarters" next to our dedicated parking site in the fun field. We are also working on a smaller companion tent for seminars and other such things so that we don't have to crowd the larger, gathering tent.

Further to Charlie's note re Boomerangs, it looks like the available rooms are dwindling, so I'd encourage anyone who thinks they might need a room to book now.
