Stuck screws in headlight housing

A rudimentary question...

Any tips on how to get these stubborn screws out? They have not been removed in 12 years.

I feel like I will destroy the heads if I keep trying.

Impact screwdriver

Or small hammer and regular screwdriver. Tap on the handle end straight down while applying counterclockwise rotational force to the screw

You might first want to squirt a little Liquid Wrench around them and let it set for a while. --Bob
