Hello everyone and especially the WAZOO folks.
We will have another WMD (Westminster Maintenance Day) on Sunday, April 18th, 2021 at the garage in the alley behind my house at:
Jim Voter
195 W Main St
Westminster MD 21157
Call me if you need directions or have any questions.
Jim: 443-244-1347
Everyone is invited. We will start at 9:00 AM. Come when you can and leave when you need to.
We will be replacing a Backup Light Switch and installing one of those polished stainless steel Coolant Crossover Pipes that Phil made.
Charlie has promised to bring his world famous Pulled Pork BBQ.
If you need any work on your ZR-1, let me know and I will schedule you in.
There will be a ZR-1 Net Registry prize for the person who drives the farthest in a ZR-1 to attend this WAZOO WMD.

Thanks for the invite. I put the gathering on the calander. 91Z Car is in Coho auto repair looking for oil leak dripping out of cross member. All was good from Haibeck. Ran great and ac working.
Car got hot in traffic with ac working so took a trip down 66 with no ac. Temps at 1/2 gauge. Oil drips on floor showed up a couple days later.

Thanks Ross, I have the BBQ, rolls and plates covered. Maybe chips? Will be great to see you Darrin, been too long. Maybe we can find a transmission that needs some work so you can lift it out for us:)

I've been dying for the maintenance days to begin and of course work has gotten out of hand recently...
I'll call if I get out of there at a reasonable hour to see if you guys are still around.

Had a super day today and thanks to Jim for hosting as usual. Had perfect weather, cool in the morning so the engine cooled off quickly and got warmer as the day went on. Thanks to Jim and Darrin we were able to install the stainless steel coolant crossover pipe Phil made as well as replacing the backup light switch on my car. Yun and Ed replaced the seat switch so now Ed can adjust his seat again. Nelson had his gorgeous C8 convertible and Yun had to take it for a ride....came back with a C8 permigrin! Between MD, PA and VA we had 11 and still had some leftover BBQ. A fun day for sure!

Photo 3-all installed
Photo 4-Yun and Ed installing the new seat switch...can't get this to rotate!
Photo 5-group shot with most but a few missing...food is more important than a photo!

Looks like a great time! Just curious - y'all vaccinated? Already had the 'rona? In your own "bubble"? Or just rolling the dice?
NOT throwing shade in any way - genuinely curious given our (admittedly mostly self imposed) restrictions here. It's been over a year since I've attended any sort of gathering like this and I'm envious.

We had one or two very small get togethers before being vaccinated. Keeping 6 feet away and wearing a mask plus working in an open garage was OK but wiping down tools before handing them off started to get old. Happy to say that now all in Wazoo land are fully vaccinated and past the 2 week waiting period. I think I was the only one that had the virus and that was back at Thanksgiving. Only way I knew was I lost taste and smell for 9 days. Fortunately it was a non-event. We are all good to go!
