Erik,

what spring rates/ part#'s are you looking for? I'm pretty sure there are a few C4 springs in my fathers parts stash. I can check the next time I head back to Illinois in the next month or so.

It seems like they are FSM and RHY. But there is some question about the front code.

Thanks very much!

Eric, so I would find a person with a 92-95 and the build sheet. It will list the Springs by the letter codes which should be helpful. BTW, does your 90 have an AA front spring?

I believe it does. I'm just going through the steps of getting my build sheet. That should answer it definitively.

Maybe I should start a separate thread asking folks what spring codes people have on their build sheets.

I replaced my front spring with a gently used FHA code spring. The RHY code spring in my car I believe to be original. The ride height balanced out perfectly.

The car was lowered when I got it. It was way too low. People back in the day would remove the two center rubber mounts (I think they are rubber) on the front spring. I couldn?t stand how low it sat. Looked cool, but made it tough to drive. So, I had Frank Para Chevrolet in Irving, Texas put a new front spring and different bolts on the back to raise it back up to factory specs. The code should be correct but I don?t remember the details.
