I want to measure the ride height on the front (rear too while I am it) to make sure it is stock ride height. It looks lower to me, leaf springs are good and ride is fine, I do not see any lowering hardware . Where would I measure from point A to Ground to verify front and rear ride height and what would I look for (from a hardware perspective) to see if it has been lowered. Thanks!

Note the (frame shop) reference attachment bars behind the front wheels and ahead of the rear wheels from which measurements were taken between the frame and "ground". I'm no expert, but I would have to take their lead and suggest there is where to measure. What the actual stock ride height would be would depend a lot on the tires, among other things; tires which are no longer manufactured (far as I know). My point being there my well be a range of ride heights which would amount to "stock" height.

Let's see what an expert might have to say! :happy1:

The frame shop pix... (Never mind the front bumper measurements - those are being taken to assess what tweaking is required after the bumper was smooshed [long story])

I am not trying to measure frame, I am trying to determine if the PO installed a lowering kit.... looks like to me he did. Below is a picture of the front spring mounts...looks non oe and the rear leaf spring bolts are 11 inches..can anyone verify? Thanks.

when we measure ride hieght for a alignment, we measure like paul stated, frame to ground(rack) from behind front wheels and infront of rear

But the suspension change would not affect the frame to ground would it not as the suspension rides above that???

Lower spring cushions look stock to me.
The nuts on retainer bolts also look like where they should be for the original factory upper side spring cushions.

Also, the aluminum spring clamp brackets are not shortened which is required when installing thinner urethane lowering wedges to replace the upper upper stock spring cushions.

I agree with Phil, those are stock.
