My center console at some point was removed and replaced and the sticker is no longer present. I asked several outfits including corvette museum for replacements and unfortunately no one can reproduce them. Has anyone tried to reproduce them, size, font style? anyone have a template in word that I can use. I can recreate them but it will take a ton of time to match font style and spacing but I was wondering if anyone on here has had this issue and how did you go about replacing it??

attached is my build sheet.

thanks

Anthony

To have it judged you really dont need it. The NCRS requires a copy of the Build Sheet be sent to the Team Leader from the Museum. It will when given to you when your car is Judged.

I spent many hours reproducing these SPI code stickers. I could not find anyone to redo these when you don't have the originals so I did them my self. I redid the air bag and RPO sticker, if anyone needs a set I would need their RPO codes and I can reproduce them for you.

What do you think? they look pretty good compared to the originals.

Be careful. If the car goes to a major auction and is found to be reproduced, the car can be confiscated. Having the build sheet is all that is needed especially on a ZR1 that has all RPOs already.

Its like reproducing a C2 Trim Tag.

I think you will be fine since you have the broadcast sheet too. Nice job with the reproduction.

Do you know all of your RPO codes?
If you go to this site www.compnine.com and create a login you can get all of your RPO codes via your VIN.
From there I can then create one for you. I will send you a PDF of the label then you will have to print it on a sticky back sheet of paper, cut it out carefully and then your good to go.

let me know

Charlie, it took me months to create the fonts as accurately as possible to the original GM fonts. Font styles in Word and other wordprocessing programs do not have the original GM font style. I looked everywhere. I had to manually create them in AutoCad. It was painful.

See you soon at Carlisle!

That is total bullsh*t. He's reproducing a sticker. Not only that, there are multiple VIN stampings on the car that identify the vehicle. The sticker just identifies trim. While someone could get into legal trouble for misrepresenting something they are selling in a civil court proceeding, there is nothing illegal about reproducing or even changing the sticker, only in misrepresenting it for financial gain.

Thank you. I am just trying to make my '92 as original as possible and reproducing it makes it feel original and new again. :)

Here's a shout out to Anthony.

He created a SPID for my 1990. I have no idea what happened to the original, but it wasn't under the console cover when I bought it.

I'm not doing NCRS, but like Anthony, I _wanted_ to have that label.

Thanks man

This is something I would like to explorer. I have the original attached RPO label, but is turned yellow. I am thinking is is best to leave it as is. (for the 95 NCRC RPO ). I would would love some advice from some in the judging NCRS field. Feel free to email me directly to corvette then the two digits 95 then the @ sign and gmail dot come. This probably wont decrease my spam but I am trying.
