1990steering column. ???s

Is the steering column for a1990?zr1?a 1year only deal or can one be used from other years .has anyone found a place that rebuilds steering columns . Is it a hard no to take it out ?

1 year, mainly because of the airbag clockspring. I used T & M steering column repair in Nashville, TN. Also, the turn signal switch (NOT the stalk) is almost impossible to find if yours is bad.

I have 4 or 5 Turn Signal switches.. those are $20-$30 and easy to find, it is common oin many cars..

Now the 'switch mount' that stalk connects to, which is actually the Wiper switch, THAT is difficult to find and sells for around $250 USED, if you can find one

Thank for the info on the rebuild shop wish I could find one closer to me . Hot oh well . How hard was it to take out ?
