Probably because they cost 115k yet, in 1990 money, 60k was enough to buy a subdivision house and a corvette coup

Very true....Take the price of a 19 ZR-1...130-140K ? Where most of us live that's not even enough for a down payment on a house...

My college roomie, lives on Long Island, his house, had been upgraded, it's nice, but small. You could set it inside ours. Yet his is worth a Million bucks. In Missouri, a million dollar home. Is a Mansion.

I've been watching the C6's offered for sale, there has been quite a drastic upturn lately. I think they have hit rock bottom, and are on their way back up, the only cars i see that are lower priced, are high mileage.
