Good morning, I just wanted to take the opportunity to introduce myself. I will be heading up the C7 group as we move forward. I hope we can help with any questions and or concerns you have. I will not have all the answers but we have a tremendous amount of resources within the membership and look forward to seeing you all at future events.
Looking forward to seeing some C7 Photos and hearing your comments.
Stay safe

Offered in both auto and manual transmissions. Coupe and convertible. There is ?base? model with a low wing and the ZTK option with big wing and end caps to the front splitter . Top speed was achieved with low wing. ZTK package is for extra downforce if you track the car. Sebring orange was the highest color produced and was the color they used to launch the car.

Sorry guys i got a little sided tracked with some family issues over the holiday. But yes the Sebring Orange was the most popular for the C7 ZR1, with 644 coupes and 197 conv. painted that color. There was also the ZLZ Sebring Orange design package that, included the orange calibers, interior orange stitching orange accents on the ground effects. Orange seat belts, competition seats and carbon fiber steering wheel and Bronze tinted aluminum interior accents.

Got mine in December '18. Have about 7K on it at this time. Been to the track a few days with it and really like it. Other than eating tires rather quickly it is a joy to track. I might say I pulled the CCB's off and replaced with the AP package. Rather expensive but perform well and should be easier and cheaper to maintain in the long run for track. If it were basically just a DD I would think the CCB's would last a long, long time. BTW, I have the A8. Glad to be here on the forum. This site holds a lot of promise especially with Hib contributing.

Chuck, I have not been looking at this section as I am normally just on the C4 ZR-1 section, but I sold my last ZR-1, a '95 Polo Green/Tan, in 2016 to order my 2016 C7 Z06. I know, it is not a ZR-1 but it still is a very capable C7 and not all that different from the ZR1s, so I thought I would add mine to the group. While I miss the ZR-1s, I love my C7. I have taken three long (2,500+ mile) trips, including one with my car-hating wife and even she was happy in it. 22,000 miles on it and now shod with Michelin A/S 3+ ZPs. One of a very small number ordered with Body Colored Vents. I still have lunch with Marc Haibeck every month or so and stay involved with the ZR-1 group but I do enjoy the C7 and currently don't have any plans to get a C8. Unless I win one of the NCM raffles. So far I have just made donations :) however. Loved going to Spring Mountain two day Ron Fellows driving school courtesy of the GM discount. And I even added a "Z06" emblem to the back of the car to mimic the way the C4 ZR-1 did it. I guess over 20 + years with ZR-1s I just got used to the look. --Bob

Thanks, but not really very sophisticated. I just bought a Z06/Supercharged side vent emblem from my local dealer (about $25 as I recall). Then I dry-experimented with whether I wanted the full emblem or just the Z06. Decided that the more ZR-1-like Z06 was the best so I carefully cut the Supercharged off with a fine tooth hacksaw. Discovered that the "Z06" was in two pieces and held together by the Supercharged part, so I had to align it carefully as I applied it with the sticky tape on the back. But I am happy with the way it came out. Of course no one really notices it unless I point it out. --Bob

Bob, I have a Z06 as well, a 2015 Crystal Red. I have a rough time loading photos. But yours looks real nice. Chuck
