I was sent a sample swatch of leather from them, because I just had the common drivers bolster wear. Told them I didn't want to buy everything, just a bolster....The lady said no problem. Got the sample in the mail, stapled to a letterhead from them. then when I called back to order, they acted like I was from Mars. Was told we NEVER send out samples, but I have the letter and piece of leather you JUST sent me! Stating $50 for a side bolster in saddle color. Hand written with Al Knoch letterhead lol! The way I was blown off like I was crazy, was unbelievably epic... I'm sure you as others here have had a great experience with them, as it does look like they offer beautiful leather covers. But I think they realized we are not going through with the trouble to break up a $1000 seat set, for just a bolster. So I told them to stick it where the leather don't shine and took the little 2 inch square they sent and fixed my seat!! Sorry, I'm off my soapbox now.....

In the few weeks since I posted this, the repair has held up well. And I have plenty of dye left over for reapplication (assuming it doesn?t dry out quickly).

Based solely on ram_g 's review, I ordered the kit including crack fill for my wife's Camry. Haven't done the Camry yet but another friend with a 15k miles C6 needed seat repair so I let them be my learning car. The kit did a really great job. The seat must be completely Armor all etc free and completely dry. I used an hvlp with low pressure gun, took 5 coats but looks brand new. Thanks for the tip ram_g !

After seeing your original post I got a bottle of black dye for a spot I had on the passenger seat. Worked great and very pleased with the end results. Great find and thanks!

Received the uppers back from al knoch today with the correct coloring for the corvette lettering still trying to figure out what to do about the bladders 13171

I would try and find out who gave you a line of crap then I would talk to the owner. Will they sell just the seat bolster covers?

It was the worst customer service I've ever dealt with....I was so pissed and shocked how I was treated. Makes me mad typing this thinking about it lol. Al Knoch is a great product if you have the money.

I may call over today at lunch and see if they just sell the side bolster, or I get a line of crap again today.
