Sooo... 650+ HP....

Is that at the crank or tire? And is that on the bottle or just the engine?

And why are you stating that it's off road only? Does it have cats?

It is there, but not used for the 650 number.
The car was built/ owned by a gent who now is in his late 70's who bought it new, and I purchased it from him.
It was sufficiently radical just on the motor.
He used the car to drive from the Philadelphia suburbs to his house on the Chesapeake.
A very well kept hot rod with a very interesting owner.

Steve, your due for a road trip. Fly to BWI, I will pick you up at the airport and we can take my Z to Marty and if all goes well, you can drive the ZO6 home!

Impossible! You want it and we all know you want it. There was a reason you passed on my ZO6 - the opportunity to own a C5R. So just do it - it's only money. And at that price you should be looking for two (just sayin')

And the pressure builds...........Gunny, Steve has been moaning about missing out on your car and if he misses out on Marty's........it will be tough to be around him!

Steve, we are not getting any younger. Who knows how many years we have left to be able to get in and out of a Vette let alone work a clutch. Too many of us getting back, knee, hip work done. So just do it....

.... Who knows how many years we have left to be able to get in and out of a Vette let alone work a clutch ....

EXACTLY ...
Most days I wake up thinking (dreaming?) that I'm still 25 and can still do all the things that I used to do - and then reality sets in and I realize that I'm closer to 80 than to 70. The left foot/leg no longer function on the mountain roads as well as they did a few short years ago and that's why I reluctantly parted ways with my ZR-1 & C5 ZO6. Paddle shifting my Z51 C7 is marvelous and buys me a few more years. And now that we are moving to the mountains full time I intend to maximize my seat time driving the twisties.

So Steve ... I hope the next post I read from you is that you pulled the trigger. FWIW, there were only 2 things I wish my ZO6 had - the 427 and the Tiger Shark front clip. When you get the Z consider adding the MGW shifter - that was my only mod and it's the closest shifter to the Hurst that I could find for the C5. Highly recommended.
