Hi guys, hopefully you can help with this problem. Just got a 91 zr1 and having a mis to the point of shutting down. Bucks and Carrie's on, then seems to straighten out to running ok. This happens in about the same distance from my house. New fuel filter, possibly the original injectors. If they where shorted , or clogged they don't temporary fix them selves. Any suggestions. Thanks.

Hi Rodney, sounds like you need to join us in Westminster for Wazoo maintenance days. Could be one or more of several items. If you have original injectors, they need to be replaced. Could be a coil as well.

Hi Dredgeguy, I've heard of these westminister maintenance days, when is the next one. The car sat alot, it's got 83k miles, new fuel pumps, new wires. I have a complete set of injectors, and most gaskets that came with the car.

Send me a PM with your email and cell number and we will add you to our contact list. Jim (QB93Z) has them at his home garage and normally posts up in the Mid-Atlantic section of this forum.

No problem, will get Jim to add you to the email list and also keep an eye on the Mid-Atlantic section. We normally post up in that section as well. Right now we have not had any to be on the safe side but hopefully we will be getting back to normal shortly.

Yeah Viper, definitely changing the coils, wires just a matter of time to do it. Thanks for bringing them to my attention. I like to have everything before I get started.
