Hi. New to ZR-1. Looking at this one. Located south of me in Ormond Beach. Guys on ZR-1 Forum on FB advised reaching out to someone who might be near me to bounce this one off of. So I registered here. Some things might be suspect with the car as were pointed out to me. Any thoughts on whether it is worth going and looking at. I see he is asking $18+ now. Appreciate it.https://jacksonville.craigslist.org/cto/d/ormond-beach-1991-corvette-king-of-the/7169569122.html

I'd say it is worth going to look at and test driving to see if everything works as advertised. Take a club member with you who knows these cars and what to look for.

Marty, you could run a seminar on ad copy!
They could learn a lot from you...
1st slide of the PowerPoint presentation would read:
"ya gotta know what the he## you're talking about"

Thanks, guys. Appreciate it. Guys on another forum had some issues with it. Seats look replaced and front bumper painted. And as pointed out here, the seller seems confused.

"FLAWLESS TORCH RED EXTERIOR"
Torch Red was not available from the factory in 1992.

Plenum looks refinished but cam covers and bolts are crummy. Not pristine.

Thanks for the good comments, guys. Not sure about this seller or the quality of the car. Moving in a different direction. Might be better buying off one of the sellers on this or another forum.

Good call. Move FAR away. I was dealing with the seller also. After researching the car and speaking with Marc Haibeck and Aaron Scott, I pressed him for the documentation he claimed he had and he balked. Then I researched 'the guy'. What I learned (and you can too) proved to me he's the kind of guy we don't need in our community.
