Anyone have experience or knowledge of the quality of the products and engine work by Caravaggio Corvettes in Toronto? Specifically, any complaints or problems with their LT5/368 engine builds in the past?
Thanks,
Scott

Beautiful leather work, but I don't know how good they are mechanically.

Thanks for the replies so far... yeah, also familiar with their excellent reputation for coachwork, but really have heard nothing good or bad about their mechanical expertise.

These guys did awesome interior work for the C6 crowd. I remember drooling over their seats when I had my C6Z. pretty sure they did the pratt & Miller C6R street cars too. but engine work??
Not that it's helping this thread any, but I do wish they'd offer some interior help for the C4. I think a Carvaggio interiored ZR-1 would be about the ultimate Corvette.

There is at least one member that has done a Carvaggio interior on his car, but I'm not sure if it was finished and hes not very active lately. I'd love to see the results.

Oh wow. That would be fantastic to see.

It would also be a really, really expensive Corvette. Their interior work is very nice, but also very expensive. I had a pair of their seats (bought used) in a C5 Convertible I had and they were nice.

Just out of curiosity, how much did those seats run?

Don't remember specifically, I think I paid $1500 for the pair used, and that was needing the seat tracks rebuilt. If I remember correctly new they were probably close to $4-5K for the pair.

Yeah, leather work is scary expensive if it's done well. Very easy to spend more of a restoration budget in leather work, then mechanical.
