So I've been watching this guy Doug DeMuro on Youtube for a while now and he has reviewed a few Corvettes but not a stock C4 or ZR-1 edition.

I know he has a good opinion of C4s in general due to reading this article he once wrote.

http://www.autotrader.com/car-news/c4-chevy-corvette-highly-underrated-261608

I think the ZR-1 would be perfect for his channel because all of its, as he puts it "quirks and features", are unique. Everything from the solar coated windshield to the valet key, or the fact that the engine is a 32 valve DOHC designed in conjunction with Lotus and built by Mercury Marine. Also, if its a 93+ the PKE system was special for the time.

Do any of you live in his area and have a mostly stock example he could review? I'd love to see it! Preferably in black, but only because mine is black and I'm biased, lol. If so you can shoot him an e-mail DougDeMuro@yahoo.com

Here are his other vette reviews.

My guess is he would want a stock example. Something to show the original power output, both in valet mode, and full power.

It just seems sacrilegious to put a fine machine like a ZR-1 into the hands of that idiot though. Man, is he ever dreadful.

What makes him an idiot? He seems to know a lot about corvettes and cars in general.

I used to watch his videos a lot. But I just couldn?t stand him anymore. He would knowingly misrepresent and mock cars of the era, basically just because they weren?t new or didn?t have modern technology. Being an idiot, just because he could.

Hoovie does much of the same thing, but is much smarter and more understanding of cars built in earlier times. He enjoys them for what they are.

I think Doug is fair but yes Hoovie is more of a fan boy of the era. Although I find him to be annoying at times too. I just like to hear someone point out the good and bad of a car. I feel like he would have more good than bad to say about the C4 ZR-1. Plus he has 3.63 MILLION subscribers. I want our ZR-1s to get recognized more because they deserve it.

I think Doug and Hoovie talk, and Hoovie owns or did own a white 91? ZR-1. So I guess he knows of the car. Couldn't hurt to ask him though. I would like to see his review and particular the Doug Score for the ZR-1.

Yes exactly. I think he would be impressed with the car for what it is and stands for.

In the Doug voice, "And the most unique feature is this little extra key.........."
