For those that dont have FB. It's good to have friends near by!! With the help of Hans, we ending up pulling the suspension again. For some strange reason the resulted in nothing happening. I can now say I'm very happy with the stance and overall look with the Shelby's!! Next up is getting the alignment done and it should be a fun summer! A bid thanks again to Hans!!120811208212083

Those wheels look great, especially on a black one (the real fastest color)!

Yeah, that was really strange the first time around. Did the normal mod and the car sat higher if anything. Looks fantastic now. Get that alignment done Tony!

Is there a how-to in the solutions thread that I missed. I need to get lower as well.
The rear is easy, I have no clue for the front. Thanks

I believe it’s in the “Solutions” sticky at the top of this section. Can’t imagine it not being in there.
Well, apparently it’s not.
Try this one...

I’ve spoken to a number of people on this. The consensus seems to be, cut the upper spring bushings Down to about 1/4 inch. Don’t bother with gluing in the aftermarket shims, use the cut down bushings as is. Remove the Aluminum shims and move them to the bottom of the mounting brackets. Cut down the mounting brackets by about 1/2 an inch or more to match the height of the remaining bushings and spring. Then bolt it up. Works great. That’s exactly what we did with Tony’s car here in this thread.

Thanks for the tip. Front is pretty involved. Sounds like a project for next winter. Not a fan of coilovers.
