Lucky fellows they are.
I am looking forward to posts from the drag racing at BG. I know Ron will be there and maybe Phil. I think he attends, or has n the past. There should be artillary there for sure. Sure wish I could be there. Not this year though.

Ron ran last year
frank brought his white 415
phill was there but I don't remember what car he had with him
The white LSV is a 90 and it is presently with Sue Merrow , Larry's widow. Ronzo has the big dog red 95. I'll be at BG this year with the green 93.
I need to get a set of tires down to BG , It's tough to hook these car's with street tires.
Phil will not be down at BG this year.

Thanks for the posts everyone. Am I understanding then, the white car that has been seen in the bad azz videos is not an LSV? Only three right?

althought LPE made more "LSV" type 385 engines, chevy made them stop using the LSV emblem because of the copyrighted bowtie logo.
so only 3 cars are LSV. Larry had em all. glad Frank you are making it down.
I'd love to ship my drag radials but will likely just take it ez and run on the supercar tires. they don't hook that great but last year I grenaded a clutch and didn't even make one decent pass.
managed to Limp Some Vehicle (LSV) home though!! when I hit 81 I thought I would have to give up. hit some heavy traffic with the failing clutch, but I pulled off, let it cool, and limped the rest of the way home. rained the whole way too, and I was on the bald pilot sport cups. not again.
I have the CCW 505 rims, with pirellis up front and the supercar f1s in back (c6 z06 325 size) while they aren't as good as drag radials, they are ok in the rain and as frankie will tell you, riding on drag radials in the rain is a big risk. I already tried my hand with the cups in freezing rain, never more croaked the raven.:sign10:

Sounds like Larry was a fortunate man. Sounds like he lived and breathed ZR-1 Corvettes. I knew from past posts that only three "official" LSV's were built...and Larry Merrow owned all three, damn.
Thanks for the information guys.
Larry did quite a bit promoting the ZR1 family. And was also involved with John Lingenfelter on promoting the performance side of the car also.
There is soo much more. But here is a bone.
IE: The LSV badge was going to be put on the car's that LPE modified. It stood for Lingenfelter Super Vette. GM had John stop using the LSV badges because of the bowtie copyright.

The white car is a 91 # 1579. I maintain it for Sue.
