Broke LCD Screen

I’m following Paul Workmans directions to recalibrate the tachometer. The pins were so tight on the LED screen it broke the corner of the screen. I called Mirrock Corvette and he doesn’t have any. He told me I can use an LED screen from a 90 or 91. Anybody out there got one? Or does anybody know someone on the other Corvette forum that may have one?

The center LCD speedo readout? I am pretty sure I have a couple in mini storage. It might be a few days before I can get there with the quarantine but will give one to you , I can't vouch for the polarization on them.

I agree with the others, Batee is the guy to know for issues like this.
I have used his work and his kits 5 times now with 100% success.

I usually have a couple of these, but I only have one for a 90-91 which is in my cluster..

Bater has no replacement LCD screens. They refer customers to Mirrock Corvette. Mark has none there either. I made these calls before posting.

You may need to find a used 90-91 instrument cluster and transfer the LCD. It’s not ZR-1 specific. You can find them on eBay all the time or possibly Mirrock. I can tell you a 92-96 LCD will not work. Been there done that.

Thanks, but I cannot take credit for it.. Batee does have an adapter to use a 92-96 LCD in a 90-91.. I have one, but have not fully tried it yet

True statement my 90 Z is running this mod.... the 90-91s LCD are LONG.... Gone

I hired Bryan at Batee.com to rebuild my whole cluster and he hooked me up with a new lcd screen, tach recalibrate, and the plastic part where the signal bulbs live. He did a fantastic job, he is top notch.
