I pulled the evaporator housing on my 90 to remove the right side cam cover. The housing is off, I did it without disconnecting the evaporator and discharging the a/c . I searched for a "how to tip" but didn't find anything useful nor was the SM very good. Is there any good write ups on this or any tips to reinstall? The two 7mm screws on the engine side bottom of the box was a huge tasks. Should I go ahead and discharge the a/c and pull the lines? What is the best way to tackle this as there is no "easy" way. Thanks. ( I know I need to make sure the seal to cowl is tight on reinstall). Hope everyone is staying safe and healthy. :flag:

No tips here. Those 2 bolts are a bitch. I didn't reinstall my bolts yet....

I use a 1/4” drive ratchet and long extension to get at the 7mm head screws located on underside of the AC temperature control cover. Come in from the front side and use a mirror if you have to to line up wit the screw that goes in the firewall. Leave the Freon lines and evaporator alone. I’ve never had to remove anything further to get at the right hand cam cover or remove the engine
