I finally have the 90 basically completely down. Interior is out including dash and booster. All interior parts.I have to remove door glass and hood clamshell for paint. I need to adjust the hood as it is scraping right hinge, I want to bleed all the fluids (pump the rear end fluid out) and I suppose the remove the brake fluid I use a tech1A? Thought about having the working booster rebuilt- it is working? Headlamps are already rebuilt last week, I have never replaced the parking brake linings... I have new rotors and pads - nothing bought for emergency brakes. I would like to find a good used third brake light, replacing/rebuilding hatch struts. putting in new console, radio bezel, and shift knob (correct parts) . Removing weatherstrip and guide channels for paint. Seats are out with new covers from Al Knoch on the way (I am concerned with the installers ability - even though he says he is knowledgeable) . New seat air bladders, switches and pumps rebuilt. All new Bose installed. I have a new started once I am under Plenum. A/c Works, wonder if I should have compressor checked while it is off. Sending belt tentioner to Marc H when it gets off this week. I need to find a red spare tie down. I need A-pillar NOS weatherstrip. What else can I do while it is apart? The injectors are supposedly less than a year old. Is the air filter the same size as the 90 L98 motor...I think I need a filter for the smog pump inlet?

How does the instrument cluster lighting look? The bulbs go out and the LCD goes dim. Batee.com is the go to for those issues. Also how do the seatbelts look? Frayed or overly worn belts should be replaced. Is the FX3 shock system good? No dash lights or codes?

All instruments are already on way back from Batee :) FX3 Good, no lights, seat belts are good (low mileage) . The CD head unit was all working but sent for upgrade anyway. I had all new amps and bose, those are already installed. I am doing the airbag grounds . I am wondering about brake booster, heater core, air box, I put a new hood release cable(s) in but can't get a good fit - I used GM cables. I have new seat bladders and seat leather on the way, I don't have a interior shop here where I moved so I had to call around. I have a shop to install them but nervous about them putting the air bladders in correctly and the solo side seat bolster (90) . I rebuild the air pumps although one makes more noise than the other. I am replacing all the weatherstrip but only have GM NOS B-pillar, have found two GM A-Pillars but neither place will call me back. White racing being one of them. I guess I should just write them off the list at this point. I see the sticky on them. I am trying to decide on headers and exhaust but don't want loud or a check engine light so I need the O2 sensors to work.

That sounds like a nice spring project. Hope you post pics up when she is done! And I wish you good luck with Al Knoch. I wouldn't recommend him to anybody, but you may have a totally different experience.

I hope the new leather is good, I am having it install locally.

Since I have posted so much about this 90 I picked up...here are some pics of before and current, hopefully the "finished" file will be ready by end of April.
I'd slap some Dynamatt down while you have the carpet out / door panels off.

Your 90 looks like a 91

Yeah, PO put 95 moldings , wheels, fenders and front bumper. I’m probably gonna leave it that way as it will be my fun Z not an NCRS car although I do like to keep as stock as possible. If I do, I will put 95 side emblems on it .

With the dash off, it would be a good time to install a shift light hidden in the A/C vent.
Heater cores are not an uncommon failure point on C4's. If you can find a good one or have a shop rebuild yours? Do they do that anymore?
While the rear gear is empty of oil, it would be a good time to add a drain plug for next time. Mark H. has info on that.
