Even with 53 miles on it that’s a crazy price in today’s market. Especially a 90’ in the most common color, red. While value is what someone is willing to pay, it’s maybe a $35k car, $40k tops... Still, a nice car. Getting it running after all these years, unless properly maintained, could get interesting.
Me 2 cents anyway.

It’s as original as you can get for a ZR-1, so it might be valuable to the right buyer. $68K is about the sticker price?

Don’t get me wrong I hope they get it too, but it’s just not realistic in today’s market, especially this time of year.

It’s a very limited market to the right buyer. I sold a 168 mile ruby 40th Anniv ZR-1 for 57000 a few years back. Buyer has personal museum collection. They are out there.

Wow, that's a lot of money for a red '90..... even with basically no miles on it.

I support higher prices and ask’s. 1990’s can now be imported into Europe without a huge import tax. Opens up the market. We have enjoyed a car that is ridiculously under valued. Most of you are too close to the marquee and perceive the value amongst yourselves- me somewhat too, but we need to start looking at global market, actual production numbers and available well sorted and lower mileage cars, should be propped up and higher prices demanded.

It was a game changer. The King of the Hill. Yes, they made a lot of 1990’s, but not when looked at globally or compared to other marquees of the time. They made way more 355 Ferrari’s, heck even 348’s, so we got that in our favor :-)
