I got ALDLdroid running on a cheap Android tablet using the 1320 Bluetooth adaptor.
The problem I'm having is an intermittent "checksum mismatch".
Anyone know how to solve this? I'm using an LT5 adx file I received from another member here.
Car is a 92.
Thanks.

Turn off the Wifi so it’s not hunting for a wifi signal and let it run on Bluetooth only.
You may find you have to disconnect and reconnect a few times before it takes. I have the same issue with mine.

I get that too, but i, running an adx file that 1320 sent me. The app that they have seems to be a little more stable but will also drop out.

Yeah.. connect disconnect a couple times seems to clear it up.. problem is with the silence commands at the beginning.. trying to get the CCM to stop chattering

Make sure u have disabled Checksum in the settings.

Make sure u have disabled Checksum in the settings.
Why?
The checksum confirms the data packet to be correct. Otherwise you might get the wrong values

I have mine set up this way and have absolutely no issues w getting the correct values. Never got a checksum error message. I’ve done at least over 500 datalogs using ALDLdroid. I do disable WiFi from my ASUS tablet which seemed to interfere at times w logging. That also appears to help in getting connected. It also appears to help if you enable BT once u’ve started ALDLdroid.

Interesting, maybe it is a bogus checksum error. I have been playing with an arduino to get messages off the bus. I see the chatter and was trying to get data with the chatter but that may not work. I am going to set up a test bench with a CCM and ECM. If there is a better way to silence the CCM or insert the request message with chatter it would be nice. I also found what part of the chatter is, but need to see if I can find the rest..
