For Sale:

This is a short block I have had since 2007. I am in process of installing a newly refurb’d short block. It was a deal I couldn’t refuse. Would make great basis for replacement or doing larger displacement motor.
Prior to removing the motor, Dr. Greekenstein and I performed a compression check which resulted in the following:

Cyl. Compression

1. 225
3. 225
5. 235
7. 230

2. 235
4. 235
6. 235
8. 245

Price $1350 which includes short block w liners and rotating assembly. Shipping from Chicagoland not included.

Spork,

The motor came in my original 92 ZR. I was told it was a replacement motor done at 16k odometer miles. #474 had 50k when it was totaled. I swapped it into my 92 Black Rose with chassis mileage of 112k. It now has approx 140k+ plus on chassis.
So 35k miles + 28k miles = ~ 63kmiles.
Oil and filter changes done every 2k miles
