I see that in 92 a total of 502's were built and 130 were bright red. How do I find out how many were bright red with black interior?
Thanks

You kept it in great shape running it as your daily driver and I am trying to do the same. Now we have 98,000 miles and should be hitting 100K before the Mountain Run/Gathering.

Thanks Joe. I am looking to make one of those display boards for cars and coffee. My 246 came with all the options but unfortunately somewhere along the line the painted top was sold/traded, etc.

Charlie,
I am innocent. :handshak:

I sold the car with both tops.
Now, when I rec'd the car from George Kerbeck, it was missing the red top.
I searched and found a Bright Red top at Thompson Astro Roof and purchased it.
After I sold the car is when the red top again disappeared.
Must be a run on red tops!!
BTW George purchased the car directly from General Motors, however in 1992 he was not a "certified" ZR-1 Dealer, so the car was actually put in the name of his Mitsubishi dealership.
He stated he bought the car for one of his sales managers as a reward, but then the manager must have had a bad month and he decided he would not gift it to him.
I felt attached to that car as it's shipping date was my birth month and date!
Just thought you would enjoy having the added details.

Thanks Marty for the update. Yes I know your innocent. With all the background and details you sent me when I purchased this special car, I am truly grateful. Hope you have a great Christmas and looking forward to getting together in the near future. I think this spring will have to take a ride up to see your place.
