Hi
I have a 1991ZR-1 I am trying to change Bose relay (relay that send 12V to each speaker AMP) :Eagle:do you have to remove carpeted low dash and aluminum knee bolster both?

If you are referring to CDM, yes. Passenger side.

If you’re talking about the CDM controller once you get the bush panel off. Take out the pass seat,get on your back,look up into the hole where it resides then relieze what a total pain in the a$$ the jobs going to be and have somebody else do it! I work on my own cars and this was one of the biggest pain in the a$$ I’ve ever done.

Mine took over four hours with two weeks of recovery time for contorting my back.
Worst project I ever did on the car.

Left hand lower trim pad
Driver's knee bolster
relay & wiring cable located at the lower right side of the I/P carrier
push relay & cable away from carrier & pull down from retainer.
