90 ZR1 power Antenna stuck up

My antenna went up yesterday like normal but will not go down now. I tried pushing down but not sure how much force I should use. Any suggestions?

Could be the ribbon is striped or broken or motor bad. Do you hear the motor running? If its the ribbon it can be replaced.

I was able to push mine down but I had to time it with when the antenna motor was operating
