What makes the ZR-1 faster than the Z06?

I'm pretty sure this info isn't on the site (but I could be wrong, haha). Both cars offer almost identical power, so where does the 10 mph difference come from? The Z06 is lighter, and has basically 10 years on the ZR-1, so one would think technological improvements would play in its favor.Brett

Brett:The LT-5 can and will rev to over 7200 rpm and makes all its power from 3000 to over 7000 rpm the ZO6 does not rev as high and of course the engine design is the main difference w/4 valves per cylinders and 4 cams instead of the usual pushrods and rocker arms.
