Black is my color and I am not offended by mileage. A good history and condition is a priority.
i came across this one and I am curious if anyone knows this car. Trying to stay under $20k.

The vacuum line to the Secondaries has been removed. The secondary port throttles may have been removed or tied open.

What is the reason that would be done? Will it affect performance? Does that disable valet mode?

If what I see in the pictures is correct, it would mean that the engine runs with secondaries open all the time, using all 16 injectors. ECM program change was required and the Valet Mode is gone.

Hoping to hear from “Gunny” the previous owner to discuss.

Ask the dealer for the VIN. Especially the last four digits will help folk here possibly identify previous owners.

1990 black/black #2957 was mine until May 22 this year. It's a very strong Z - always has been, even when stock. I miss her terribly - as much as my C5 ZO6.

But the reality is, even though I'm still 25 in my mind, some parts of my body have aged a little more quickly than other parts, notably my left leg/foot making "serious" track & mountain driving somewhat uncomfortable (i.e. painful) after 30 minutes or so.

I am not leaving the registry (reminder to self - pay 2020 dues ASAP) and I plan to see ALL of you at MR8 in May, 2020. No excuses - if I can make it then you young whippersnappers can, too -- doubt my old F150 would be suitable for MR8 so I'll have to look for something that can halfway keep up with all the ZR-1s.

Thank you George!
It was great speaking and I truly appreciate your time and thoughtfulness. I look forward to reaching out to the dealer to see if a deal can be worked out.
Thanks again and hopefully I will have your old beast in my garage soon.
I also would like to thank everyone on this forum for their help in connecting me with George!

The power of the ZR-1 owners

Good Luck.

If I can make it your welcome to ride with me ....
