On my 93, the door hatchback release is not working. It was intermittent but now it doesn’t work. The release button in the console works as well as the fob. I’m going to pull the door panel off and check it out but is there anywhere I can get another switch?

It may just have some corrosion on the contacts? Mirrock corvette typically has them.

do your dome/courtesy lights work with that door open? I think they tie into that switch too, but I forget.

I had a weird thing happen today. The interior lights did not come on. They were good because I could turn them on with the dimmer switch. The door jamb switch did work. Then after a drive, everything started to work again. Weird. Including the door hatchback release.

Yup, if the door ajar/open switch doesn't work, the hatch release won't work either.

After a drive you charged up the battery :D

I have the battery on a tender so the battery is always charged. It does this wether I drive it or not, so I suspect contacts are the issue. I’m replacing the weatherstrip on the door panels so I will check it when the panel is off.

Either contacts of the door switch for the courtesy lights or that switch is sticking

I’m taking the door apart next week to check it out.
