Everybody make it home ok?
I was just under 3,000 miles total.
Only small issue was had to bleed my brakes with help from Jim Voter. Thanks Jim.
Had a great time, hope everyone arrives home safe.
Somebody apologize to Jordan for me.

Home safely this afternoon. Old Red did 1700 miles in 2 weeks counting the trip to Haibeck and rolled 180,000 before heading home to St. Louis this morning. Great event again this year.

Arrived home from Mountain Run 7 about 5 hours after waving goodbye to 7 ZR-1's and a couple of other Vettes on their way to BG via the Dragon last Wednesday. Boy, was it hard watching you guys headed to the Dragon & BG ... enjoyed every minute of MR7 but circumstances prevented continuing on to BG. Next year for sure.

I had to leave early on Saturday due to the wife having planned a dinner I had to be at. But the time there was great and the weather perfect the whole time. There was a storm front due to come across my route back to Chicago so I had the perfect weather right up to my crossing I-80. Then heavy rain cut my speed in half for the last hour or so of the trip so total time was about 8 hours. All in all a good trip. The Wednesday night pizza and beer was a good gathering with some left over pizza (a good thing), Thursday touring session was fun and the Friday distillery road trip was also great, as were the dinners with everyone. Sorry I missed the banquet and the Saturday lectures but maybe next year. Thanks for the excellent planning Bob Lambe. Gunny we missed you but hope to see you next year. --Bob

Just echoing everyone's thoughts about it being great to see everyone for some great times again. Glad to see people made it hope safely. That's one hell of a trek for you in particular, Steve. I think you have Jordon seriously thinking about being the ZR-1 Net Registry official bar tender - you're quite a recruiter.

Already looking forward to seeing people at next year's anniversary Gathering.

Official bartender should be a “board of directors position”
Arguably more important than President, VP, Treasurer etc.

Most fun I’ve ever had at a gathering. The Motorsports Park events were awesome. The Bourbon Trail was phenomenal. Watching bartender recruitment was ‘entertaining’. Seeing old and meeting new friends was priceless. All in some order at least :-D

We need a fall event here in Florida.

It's really all about the entertainment value, even if it costs a few bucks. I've spent money on worse.

Couldn’t agree more.

Left BG about 11 am Sunday and arrived home at about 11:30 pm same. No issues at all. I installed a set of new Michelin PS2's , bled the brakes using dot 4 and changed out the clutch fluid also. Installed a set of Porterfield 4S pads on all four corners to do the HPDI. Those new Michelin PS2'S were great on the drive down and on the track. The car was stuck to the track and performed really well. Had a ton of fun. The touring laps were very spirited and lots of fun also. Wish I had a track like the Motorsport park close to me.

That’s the theme for The Gathering...”I probably owe someone an apology”

Nice to meet you Ted! Truly enjoyed taking cars and bourbon. Next year I plan on being a few of my good bottles and we can have our own “tasting”

Had a blast and thanks to all who made MR7 and the BG Gathering such a success. Glad all got home in one piece. Wazoo had a small issue on the way home, Jim's idler pulley locked up and fried the belt. No big deal, Jim always prepared had a spare pulley and belt with him and it only took 35 minutes to do the repair. Would have been faster but we dropped a wrench and it took time to fish it out with the engine being so hot. This weekend will break out the bourbon.
