Heard they cracked the ECM code in the new ZR-1......Hennesy has a 1,000 HP one doing 9.6 - 9.7 in 1/4........
From what I understand only 2,000 C7ZR-1' S were built.........To all those who have one especially manual, I would hold on to it...
I'm guessing last front engine design and a manual with major major balls, could be worth big money someday.....Then again many said the same thing about our cars as well....

Heard they cracked the ECM code in the new ZR-1......No one has "cracked" the E99 controller's encryption as yet. My guess is while it might be possible in theory, in practice it will not be possible because of the cost. What has happened is HPTuners is offering a hardware exchange process where you send in your E99, they disassemble it, remove the IC chip responsible for the encryption, replace it with a chip that has no encryption feature then return it to you. After that you can change the calibration just like you can with other non-E99-equipped Corvettes.Hennesy has a 1,000 HP one doing 9.6 - 9.7 in 1/4........And there are others. Katech has run a 1500-hp LT5 on their engine dyno. From what I understand only 2,000 C7ZR-1' S were built........Not true. BG. is still building ZR-1s and they are way past 2000.To all those who have one especially manual, I would hold on to it... From a collector car standpoint, I agree, but I ordered mine (VIN 1878) as a 1ZR with the 8L90 because the automatics are quicker in most track environments.I'm guessing last front engine design and a manual with major major balls, could be worth big money someday.....Then again many said the same thing about our cars as well....With somewhere between 2500 and 3000 made, it might be a while before they appreciate, but, indeed, the '19 ZR-1 is the Last Great Front Engine Corvette.

Unfortunately, not for the C4 Weekend.
I was just down there last month and I'll go again on the National Caravan. That's about all the B.G. trips I can swing this year.

over on corvette forum zr section there are a few posts of times between 9.45 and 9.6 or so. LMR, Henessey, and RPM are all tuning the "modded" ecu
hib is right the auto cars will jump a bit quicker and once the auto tuning improves they will only get faster
with the right torq conv swap a new z will be the koth for a long time until the big doggie c8 comes out
for instant gratification, sign up now, the current lt5 hits hard and has room to grow now.
