Wonder if they’ll have it in camouflage
at the NY Auto Show next week? After all, they
were driving it around in camo in NYC (crappy place to drive anything..)?
Maybe have a reason to use my NY Auto Show press creds for a change?
Or, if they’ll have one at Barrett Jackson
@ Mohegan Sun in June where they’re auctioning
off the last C7?

For me it will take some getting use to. I know many have been drooling for the day a mid-engine Corvette arrives. To me it just looks like a variation on every other ME out there. Too conservative and not distinctive especially after the C7.
Next the pricing speculation will go into high gear. I’ve read anything from $63k to just under $100k ($100k in Autoweek just today) for the base car. In my opinion anything over $65k for a base car will spell the end of the Corvette as we know it, a world class sports car that every man can aspire to. At just under $100k it becomes a low volume specialty piece. It will be interesting to follow. Will GM have a success or will they kill the Corvette with visions of grandeur?

Betcha that didn't help the traffic situation. Not that anyone in NYC would know what a Corvette is? :-D

I thought the same thing. Then assumed they predrove the route with a Ford GT to check.

I just saw a couple of shots of an orange one on YouTube. A rear end shot and a front 3/4 high angle. Very disappointing.
Those radial lines coming down the nose, the Squashed center on the rear end, yechhhh!
That rear looks like a bent Camaro.
I have never been a Ford fancier, but seeing the Ford GT at Daytona last year, and some good pix of the street version recently, it is in a whole different league.
The c4 is a triumph of design for it’s era. This new car is depressingly disappointing.
