Wow! That's 29 years of chop and weld. Like rings on a tree. Share photos of new system when installed.

Wow!! That’s a unique custom exhaust for sure.

That exhaust looks like me on a Friday night after a few Guinness'... leaning to the left and walking to the right....

It should arrive on Wednesday... and I hope I can have it in my this next Saturday... Going to attempt getting it in enough to be able to drive it over to the shop to get it welded up.... or else its open headers for 6 miles... :-D

BTW... Anyone know if that would hurt anything if I had to drive it that way? Of course driving very easy....

Arrived today on schedule. Man, I guess Im not used to the 3" pipe... it looks huge compared to what I had on there...

Couple observations...

So it seems like the front hangers with the springs will become useless with the 3" pipe... The pipes are too wide for the spring hangers to actually work... or at least it seems to look that way.

The rears might work... Im not sure yet.

I have it mocked up and plan to buy a couple of sections of flex exhaust pipe to attach the new system to the headres, just to get it to the shop....

If I werent able to make that work, is driving about 5-6 miles with open headers going to hurt anything aside from my ears??

Hers a few pics...

Now that looks A WHOLE lot better :) As far as running just on the headers for a few miles, I would think you would be just fine. It would be the same as having cutouts right after the headers right?

I would have thought they would be included with the package. Wonder if you have to buy extra parts to hook onto stock manifolds & cats?

I dont think you do... The factory install kit shows the lead pipes with the flanges on them... still not 100% sure.

I went ahead and purchased 2 sections of 3"X 11" tubing just to be sure I had everything I need, plus 4 more clamps....

I'm hoping mine turns out to look like whats in the picture on the previous page when I'm done. I shouldn't really need much welding when I'm done.... Maybe some "ears" for the spring hangers...
