Thanks for the map. That might be cool to retrace the route (at 10% of the speed).
I remember people talking about watching that after it was released in movie theaters.

I recently visited my daughter in Paris and showed them this video. The grandaddy of car videos.

Reminds me of the chase footage from Ronin, one of the best car chases ever.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MxxH0lZSYgUI watched that recently and thought what a big deal it must have been to coordinate that chase scene in Paris. I'm sure Rendezvous took some planning, too, but on a bit smaller scale. :-)

Let me toss in an incredible car/train chase. Popeye Doyle/Gene Hackman chasing a NY elevated subway train in Rockaway for The French Connection.
Talk about cinema verite’. Some of it wasn’t supposed to happen.

Anyone remember The Gumball Rally?? The opening scene of these cars leaving New York City, in the very early A.M. is amazing.....The sound of a real 427 cobra and Daytona Ferrari blasting through the streets, those V-8s echoing off the buildings. I mean come on!!!
