My check Engine light is on after a replacement of the Driver Side Glass window as well as the interior lights are DIM. When I was having the glass replaced I noticed that the lights went dim while the technician was working on the door.

I'm going to through it on a scanner soon but just thought I would see if anyone here knows what is up before I start messing around with the door to see if there is a pinch wire or something. Everything works fine - Locks and power window on that door. Also the car runs fine. Just the interior lights are dim and the check engine light is one.

Thanks!

Just let everyone know that when your interior lights dim that it means that one of your Courtesy light fuses has blown. Replaced the fuse and everything was ok.

Good, and of course, correct catch!

My suspicion is the tech touched and shorted the connector to the window switch pod, particularly the lead or wire for illumination.
