Well Precast1 and Joelbbvette were at the Florida NCRS Winter Regional in Lakeland FL end of this week. Well Precast1 did really well (I'll let him share his results) and I passed my PV!!! I have now been fortune to have 2 C4s pass PVs on their first attempts.
Thanks for all those that sent suggestions that helped me.

A Performance Verification is everything must work as intended and designed. Joel worked hard to achieve an Award that many NCRS members will not attempt. Also the car must be driven with th Team Leader and perform as expected. When you pass this test especially in a ZR1 (all options) you have done something special. You need to pass a PV in order to be judged for the McCelland or Hill Award.

Cool.. I am not personally an NCRS type, but awesome job and lots of work to those that look to accomplish that

The NCRS now Judges modified Corvettes. As long as they were born a Corvette, with a VIN. It’s called Concourse Awards. I would love to see some of the modified C4s come out, especially the ZR1s.

The PV‘s a tough one! One thing not working as intended
means you didn‘t pass. They give you a short period (10 minutes?)
to fix it.
Good job!
Now do the MacLellan and then get out there and drive it!!!
You‘ll be glad you did!

They give you 15 minutes to fix the first thing that breaks (doesn't work correctly). My case was a light in the DIC decided not to work so I had to pull that change the bulb and put it all back together. Talk about heart attack time. When I got to my driving portion I spun the tires hard in first, shifted at 7K (need 80% of redline) and spun them hard in second. It was fun and yes I am headed to the Nationals for a shot at a McClellan Award (97.0% raw score, no driving points). The other two ZR-1s at Lakeland had 1200 and 2300 miles. Mine was the old girl at 11810 (after road test).
Personally I feel the PV is NCRS's hardest award to obtain and the more option the more that can go wrong. Also after the driving they check the computer for any codes.

Did ya happen to ask how many ZR-1s have earned Top Flights?
:)
Good luck on that one...

True, it‘s not gonna happen. 😀
At least not until NCRS figures

This registry is a weath of knowledge and is full of people that are just willing to help out in anyway they can. Thanks to everyone that has helped me and there are many of you.
I just got my Top Flight certificate and judging sheets tonight the car scored 100. I'm pretty darn excited. The NCRS crew did a stellar job and put on an outstanding meet.
Again thanks to all!

Joel
How did they check the the low tire pressure system at the PV?
Joelbbvette

You lower one of the Tires to below 28 psi and then drive a short distance to set the warning light. Done near the very end of the PV, I carry a small air compressor that plugs into a cigarette lighter to refill afterwards. I checked weekend before so I new which tire(s) to definitely use. :-)

Thanks
Always wondered how they checked it.
Do they let you know ahead of time so
you know to bring some type of compressor?

We check the DIC at the beginning to be sure the light works then on the 10 mile road test I check to make sure no lights come on. At the end I also check to see no codes were set. Usually if you get to the road test you made it.
