My 91 has a little over 50,000 miles now...Original shocks looking to switch out the fronts ......Anybody have a nice used set with at least half the miles in good shape?

May I ask, Why do you wish to change them? Have they failed?

Actually no, and no leaks.....Mine is the only ZR-1 I have ever driven......To me it just rides a little hard for my taste....My rears are leaking but I picked up a pair with about 20K on them from another member...Have not gotten around to changing them...
All my settings do work......I'm just guessing it can't hurt to change the fronts...Car has a little over 50K on it and has original shocks....

Here is an FX3 operatings chart. They system seems to move in 25mph increments. I find this shock system tough to gauge effectiveness as much of the dampening effect of the shocks happen at higher speeds.
I just did a "redo" of my system and got everything working. I will say that I actually do feel a difference at the higher (+75) speeds, but jsut tooling around town, there is a nothing. I leave mine in Tour setting most of the time.
I have a spare set of 91 shocks that I'm still hoping to have rebuilt. Bilstein corporate will not touch them (they are technically Delco) and Delta Vee seems to be out of business. Not sure where else to go.

Thanks for the info....Car is fine on the highway, which is where most of my driving is......I can feel the difference in each setting......I too leave mine in touring....
Its just in the streets of NY sometimes you have to be careful of uneven pavement...I will just keep my eyes open if a " good" set comes up..
