Who would have thought a boxy car with cheap, unattractive interior would have been worth pickling immediately after buying it? I was never really impressed with them at the time. Other sports cars were so much more attractive (to me, anyway).
Also, I wonder how much money was been spent owning (storing, insuring, etc.) it for 30 years. Maybe the selling price doesn't represent a great profit.
Maybe I'm just jealous I didn't have the foresight to put a few cars away (like I could have afforded to do that). :-)
Yes , spend 200k on a car. Leave it with no mileage not driving it.
No thanks.

I would want to put a 572 under the hood.

About 14 years ago I had a diamond of a Monte Carlo SS 1986. I traded it to a guy straight up for an 81 C3... worst car decision Ive made in the last 20 years... These body platforms are fetching really good money now...
