I believe all crate engines (that weren't test mules or of unknown origin) were 93-95 4 bolts.

Talk about jumping the gun!...

The reality is, I don't know of any coolant/oil mixing issue that can't be repaired substantially cheaper than replacing an engine. I don't know of any cracked block or head issues with these motors.

I also would consider cash plus a known good ( say 50k miles or less) LS6 motor for an 02-04 Z06.

These engines have been for sale since February of 2019.

After being unable to reach a deal with an interested party on Friday, I posted my previous message.
Two hours later, an agreement was made for the sale of both of the motors with the original party.
Of course later that night two forum friends inquired about the same motors.
Just the way things work in life.
At this point, pending receipt of the wire, both are sold.
If anything should go awry, the two forum members remain next in line.
Sorry to part with those two crates of history, but their sale likely means a future for two other ZR-1's.
