This my be common knowledge to some but I ran across this while replacing my Halo Trim Panels recently. It was something new for me. Thought I would pass it along.
1990 to 1996 Halo Trim panels are supposedly interchangeable. As I found out that is only partially true. The caveat is that the hole for the seat belt anchor is higher on the 1990 than the rest of the years. If you look at the back of the panel you will see the hole and about two inches above it a marker showing where the hole should be for 1990 and older cars. See the photo below.
Bottom line, if you buy later model Halo Trim panels for your 1990 be prepared to drill new holes and cap the existing holes. Or, just buy the 1990 panels in the first place.
