Good to see see you here, welcome. I checked the Registry archives and it appears 1995 #57 has never belonged to a member. Let’s see if anyone from the east coast remembers or has run across this car. You mentioned on the other site it was for sale at a dealer. If you can post which dealer it might help in id’ing the car. Whether you buy this one or some other ZR-1 you found the right place for all the help and info you need.

Thanks so very much. Looking forward to getting a new ride.

Went and inspected the car yesterday. Paint on the car was decent but needed several corrections.

Car was rough. Wet inside. Wheel Rash. Needing tires. 3 didn’t match one and those three were dry rotted. Recessed area at gas fill was plugged and full of water. Needing targa and door seals. Needs weatherstripping. Engine filthy and overall car needed so much love I walked away.

Sounds like you made the right move. Without a good understanding of what your getting into and what to look for there’s no telling how much the “fixup” would cost. Check the for sale listings here and maybe even put up a “WTB” post in the For sale section. You never know what might pop up. In the mean time go through the posts here and educate yourself on the ZR-1, it’s background and it’s idiosyncrasies.

You’ll find a checklist of what to look for on this thread...

Good luck.
