I saw that on TV. While it is hard to see real details on TV, it looked rough to my eye. Engine finish was pretty bad and I noticed a trim panel in the interior was loose and the paint looked old. Not saying it wasn't a good buy, just thinking that if a seller leaves it in that condition for an auction presentation, what else might be wrong? --Bob

OK, so I almost bought this one... bid it to 14 and it sold for 15. The car was... ok. Paint was fair with a nasty ding in the passenger door that needed repair and a number of nicks/scratches elsewhere. Engine compartment was dirty and engine was discolored.
Windshield was original but showed a fair amount of delamination. It had nearly 60,000 miles. Interior showed some wear and headliner was sagging. It started up and sounded good, but it has had a lot of owners and was a California Lemon Law car when new. It was offered by a dealer who had bought it in August. All that plus I was there for a different ZR1 meant I wasn't going to go more. So, while I think it was well bought still, there were a number of reasons it was not shown more love.

I wonder what happened that gave it Lemon Law status.

Did you get the other car you were there for? (on edit: Never mind. Just read your post in the Lingenfelter thread. :-)

Just curious. Thanks. - Russ

I talked to the seller and they were not able to find out what the Lemon Law issue was. I also had the VIN run through GM's system and the info was no longer available. I would guess it wasn't anything major because it had a lot of miles put on after.
