Need More Calendar Pictures

Hello Everyone!

We have gotten some very nice shots of some very sweet rides. The calendar is progressing nicely...

That said, WE NEED MORE!!!! If you havent sent some in....We need yellow cars, white, blue, purlpe, green etc...

Also need interior shots, engine shots, under car shots....

It doesnt matter if you dont plan to buy a calendar.... we might still use your car if you send in the pictures...

Try to use high resolution pictures 800 kb and up.... We can use lesser quality and work on improving them.. but, higher res is better...

Particularly your interior to include the dash and power key from the perspective of the hatch area, trying to include the white door panels and seats if possible..... I know it wont be the easiest shot.... BUT...;)

You photo first has to be uploaded to a website that will host photos. Once it is uploaded, open the photo on the website, right click on the image & copy the URL (web address). Paste the address in your forum post.

Its so much easier to upload photos on the corvette forum....All you do is click on the little photo box than it takes you to your album on your phone,click the photo, click upload photo, done....

I tried just clicking on the paperclip icon, clicked on the photo, hit upload, than it goes to contact administrator..

John, I don't have a plan at this time. Mine are a year old, but I am almost thinking high temp clear coat over them?


Anyone else have signatures and a plan to preserve them?

If you're preserving a signature on the plenum, I can report that I used a Krylon clear which has not yellowed.

That said, I also bypassed the TB coolant which keeps the plenum cool to the touch when the engine is running. And, heat soak after it is shut off doesn't seem to have caused any yellowing - in the past 7 years since it was "cleared". (The cam covers...that's a different story.)

Marc Haibeck has found a painter who's product doesn't yellow. I don't know if he uses a clear coat or not, but you might ask him about it and get his thoughts.

Yep,so much easier than than the process here. It would be interesting to know if PHOTOBUCKETS business sense ever turned anything positive after they screwed up their site.

Thanks everyone for the photos that have been sent in. Lots of cool shots and pretty Z's. We are now at a point where we have enough to choose from. Andrea will be putting it all together when she gets back in town from visiting her ill sister in La. She has a good start on it and now we will finalize the layouts, send in what we have and then have them printed. Ill keep everyone posted!
