I'm installing injectors and have a few questions
1: can I use the O-rings that came on the accel injectors or the factory O-rings? I know I remove the bottom rings on the primaries but do I use the orings that came on the new injectors everywhere else?
2: do you just grind down the clip on the primary injectors?
Thanks in advance

Ok, figured out the grinding down the tabs, what about the orings?

Exactly the info I was looking for. Thank you!
Make sure you slide the locking clips in the top groove of the Accel injectors.

These tips look different (primaries), so do you remove the stock o-ring down in the port/put it on the new and push it in? As you can tell the stock injectors have no lip on the bottom so they slide in/out with leaving the ring in place in the injector housing.

Ok.... think I've got it figured out. I put the accel orings back on the primaries and am going to pull the stock orings that are still left in the injector housing (very carefully ) as not to drop any into the head. Then I'm going to install as I have ready in the picture with all accel orings installed on injectors.
Can someone confirm this method?

With the 375 hp engine primaries I reuse the upper injector housing o-rings and ditch the lower O-rings that came with the Accels

Ok. I'm assuming you take them out of the housing and put them on the injector to install? It wont slide in and out like the stock injectors because of that lip on the accels
Leave the primary o-rings in the IH'S that's what seals the injectors, on the injector body.
DO NOT REMOVE primary O-rings from injector housing's,unless you're replacing them with new ones.
You can remove the lower o-rings on the primary injectors from the injectors but do not remove o-rings from the primary Injector Housings.
You will have big vacuum leak.

So no problem pushing the tip down into there? It's got a bigger diameter lip on it than the stock injectors

They seal higher up on the injector. The bottom makes no difference.

But pushing the bottom down in through the oring does, it's a bigger diameter than the stock injectors (see picture).

I'll try it tomorrow, hopefully it pops right in. I will update with results

The hole is still larger than the bottom of the injector. You’ll see.

Alright boys they're back in, and yes ccmano I seen what you were talking about, the hole is bigger than the tip and it seals on the body not the end 😉
