I need to replace my Battery. I am looking for a picture of what the original battery looks like. I have the 1993 Service manual but the drawing lacks detail of what the real decals on the Delco Remy Battery stickers looked like. If you know of a source for Stickers or a new battery with correct stickers I am interested.
Thanks,
Dave Noble

I've seen these a few times and believe they'd be correct label for a '93. This is a very old post I've seen here and on the CF many times.

I use a browser add-on that displays previously locked PB snapshots. I don't know that these are PB snapshots or not.
I don't know that battery specifics and catalog # for various years is included in Registry Member access or not. If not it would be an interesting 'add' I'd think.
***If you have the 'build sheet' for your car the battery is ID'd on that sheet. Not sure the 'block #' for a '93 but '95 is likely block 47. Then a GOOGLE search should get you appropriate information.

Thank you,
Since I posted this I found an excellent graphic which I believe I can use to print my own decal. I have puchased decal printing material from a company in Texas. I will get a battery from a GM dealer and pull the original decal off to apply mine.
Happy Thanksgiving,
Dave

If you do, perhaps you could make an extra for my 93?
Will certainly cover your costs and whatever for your time.
Thanks,

Decal shouldn't be an issue but a battery with the 'eye' ain't gonna happen!
This AM the images of the battery worked well with my browser.
The battery image and part # was correct?

What is the correct replacement Battery??. NCRS book shows Model 75-695 and CCA rating of 695 amps which I can not locate in a Delco Freedom battery.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

I went to a Chevy Dealer and bought the closest thing but asked for the top to be Flat. That way I could put a copy of the old Delco Remy Battery sticker with a copy of the Green site glass on the top of the battery. I had to peal off the original stickers and put them on the side of the battery so that I could claim warranty if needed.
Send me an email to dnobull@gmail.com and I will send a copy of the sticker that you can print on glossy paper and use double sided scotch tape to adhere it to your battery
