Based on ease to install and performance, what are the best injectors to buy? I am interested in any feedback from those that have replaced theirs recently. My Z is a 1990. Thank you!

In the 20 years I owned a ZR-1. I had two sets of injectors. The stockers were in it for a couple of years. The rest of the time, I ran RC Engineering injectors. I used "one size up from stock" because of my engine's modifications.
I went to RC's because, back then, they were the only ones using the superior rotating-disc design and they have all-stainless steel internals.
Later on, I put RCs in my '01 Camaro and my '04 ZO6.
Great product. Great service. Competitive price.

If there is ONE product surrounded with more (marketing) BS :blahblah: claims than "best motor oil", it just might be "best injectors".
That's not to say there aren't many products that qualify for use in our LT5s; not at all! But, when cutting through the crap it is best to focus on the actual engine performance results and not so much on how the particular (disc, pintle, ball and seat) injector mechanics puts it above all comers. IOW, "The proof of the pudding in in the TASTING".
Depending on which vendor's "booth" you go to for injectors, the sales pitch almost invariably will try to skew you toward one "key" aspect or another - and away from how well (that sole virtue) affects actual performance in (your) LT5.
Short list for the LT5? Well, depending on whether it is a stock motor or a highly modified LT5, exact injector choice(s) may vary - primarily with regard to flow characteristics to match the application.
That said, unless you're dealing with a motor of greater than 5.7L that is limited (essentially) to ~ 7000 rpm, the injector favorites* are -
RC Fuel Injection (21# was stock flow at ~ 43#)
Accel 21# injectors (part no 150821 at Summit Racing.) Note: There is a plastic nib that will need to be ground off on those injectors destined to installed in the secondary holes - maybe 5 minuets with a Dremel to do all eight)
FIC (new) stainless injectors
*The primary considerations being: alcohol tolerant, water tolerant, actual (demonstrated) performance (in actual LT5s), long term quality & reliability, (and last if not least) cost.
Remember: It's results that mater. Not any one "feature": no matter how hard the sell!!

Different injectors have different electrical characteristics. In order to optimize their performance, its necessary to incorporate those electrical characteristics into the calibration. They are not all "the same". In fact, they are all very different. Below I've attached a Battery Voltage Compensation table for two different injectors, one stock, the other a popular replacement. The differences between the two have a significant impact on idle and part throttle operation. Pretty much anywhere there is smaller PW operation. The lower the PW, the more significant the difference because the Compensation Value becomes a larger portion of the overall PW calc by the ECM.

Thank you for the spirited reply. I'm going to order the Accels.

(snip)
In order of amount of BS, I think it's"
1) lubricants in general and especially engine oil
2) spark plugs
3) injectors

Jeff,
You beat me by 29 minutes!
I was going to say ones that worked.
