Well... typed up a long introduction and got auto-logged out... a sign it's TOOO long I guess.

Short, simple version: I bought a 1990 ZR1 about a month ago. blk/blk completely stock (does have AT LEAST skip shift eliminated) with 53k miles.

Love the car.

Long time GM fan with a small stable at present: 1994 turbo diesel suburban, 1991 Camaro z/28 5sp B4C (police package) and a 2013 GMC 3500 diesel.

Plan on resolving some minor issues with the car (wiper motor, suspension control module sometimes pops light, AC shutting off / req. battery reset, worn out rear speakers, and?? what do they usually NEED at this point?

Also considering some minimal upgrades: C5 front brakes, Long tube headers and cat back and maybe a set of NT555R's?

Nice to meet you all!

Welcome Tanner!!
There is a good checklist of common issues on the ZR-1.net site. Below is another good list of things to check that one of the members posted.
If you have any issues, reach out here in the forum and you will get knowledgeable advise.

Is the adjustable shocks system working
Windshield delamination

C4 Issues
