Im putting my Car back together and I cant acess my photos from tear down.
I don't remember exactly how these supports go and a quick photo would do wonders.
If someone could snap a photo for me Id appreciate it and perhaps close ups of the bolt heads if not the bolts themselves.
Thanks

I guess not.
Johnny,
Are you talking about the supports on each side? If you can tell me what you are looking for I'll take some pictures of my 1990.

While we are on the subject of Bumper Cover ...what causes this distortion above the license plate, the top corners of the convex area.
Some cars worse than others, depending on viewing angle & reflection. Is there a support that can be made to improve or push back outward? 8385

1996 LT1 with 14,000 miles.
I recently reinstalled the spare tire assembly, with a lightweight GTO spare 2004, realignment of the muffler delete tip angles, noticed a slight deformation of convex bumper.
I'll be rewelding the oem mufflers back on soon. Car was sold briefly & bought back, so I'm putting it all back to stock. Muffler delete sucks ...increased noise, drone8386
Amazing how much someone can "rice up" a C4 in just two months, after being undisturbed for 22 years.

As for the bumpers getting wavy in that area, check the area behind the reverse lights, there is a stud with a nut attached to the gas tank frame that attaches to the bumper there.
When I reinstalled mine putting them in and tightening took out that distortion. so make sure they are there and perhaps adding washers or aome kind of ship there would push the bumper backwards and fix it?
also parking the bumper in the sun and leting it get hot makes it pliable.
just a guess I have not tried this to see what happens
I still have a slight indent where the Corvette badge sits.

I have that same distortion going on with my car, but I'm apprehensive to correct it since the car was repainted.
