With all the recent interest in Pete’s 391’s thought I would offer this up as a core to build on.
1990 LT5 ZR-1 Long Block For Sale. $2100 OBO plus freight. Selling it as a core. Perfect candidate for that 391 build. Had ~200 psi compression on all cylinders and perfect oil pressure when removed with 181k miles and running strong. Was from a one owner car that was dealer maintained all its life. The only reason I changed it out was because I misdiagnosed an oil burning issue which turned out to be bad lower Injector housing gaskets. I had another fresh engine and decided to swap it out.
